How does it work?
Registering for our free trial will allow you to see the how the service
operates, and the benefits it provides. Registration for the trial will allow
you to download a small application to your desktop computer or server. This
application automatically encrypts and sends your data to our secure datacenter
where it is stored. You specify when you what backups to take place, what you
want to back up, and where you want your reports delivered. It couldn't be
simplier.
What are the main advantages of QuantaBackup over
traditional backup?
Most businesses will back up data to magnetic media such as tape. Unfortunately
tapes wear out through normal use and therefore need to be regularly replaced.
It is very time consuming to check whether a tape needs replaced, and often a
business will not realise until the data on the tape is required for recovery.
With QuantaBackup, your information is stored in our servers mirrored across
multiple disks. But even then, in the event of a catastrophic failure or
disaster at one datacenter, you data will still be safely available at another
datacenter.
How can I tell if my data is being properly backed up?
You will receive an email immediately after the sucessful completion of a
backup set. Should a backup set fail to complete for any reason, or the backup
schedule is missed, you will receive an email explaining why. Rest assured you
will be continually kept up-to-date when working with QuantaBackup.
